Home For Abandoned Stays

🏡 Home for Abandoned Stays

At Guru Govinda Go-Sevashram, we are a sanctuary for stray, destitute, and abandoned cows and oxen. Established in 2015 under the divine guidance of Paramahamsa Prajnanananda Ji, our mission is to provide these sacred beings with a life of dignity and care.
Our home is more than just a shelter — it is a place of love, healing, and spiritual harmony. Each cow and ox that enters our ashram is treated with respect and compassion, reflecting the age-old Indian tradition of revering Gomata (Mother Cow) as a symbol of life, nourishment, and purity.
Here, every rescued soul finds not only food and safety but also peace, affection, and belonging. We believe that the act of serving these gentle beings is an offering to divinity itself — a way of expressing gratitude to nature and the Creator. The rhythmic sound of cowbells, the calm presence of the herd, and the selfless service of devotees create an atmosphere filled with serenity and devotion.
