About Us

A Sanctuary of Compassion, Service, and Divine Connection

Guru Govinda Go-Sevashrama stands as a sacred symbol of love, service, and devotion to Gomata — the Mother Cow, nestled in the serene surroundings of Balighai, along the picturesque Puri–Konark Marine Drive Road. Established in 2015 under the divine guidance and blessings of Parampujya Paramahamsa Prajnanananda Jee, Spritual Head, Kriya Yoga International, the Sevashrama was founded with a noble purpose — to offer shelter, care, and dignity to abandoned and destitute cows and oxen.

What began as a humble act of compassion has blossomed into a thriving sanctuary — home to hundreds of rescued cows, bulls, and calves. Every life here is nurtured with love, fed with devotion, and cared for with utmost respect.

🌿 Our Activities

Transforming Society through Service to Gomata

Home For Abandoned Strays

We are a haven for stray, destitute, and abandoned cows and oxen. Under our care, they receive nutritious food, timely medical attention, and the freedom to roam and graze in our sprawling, natural surroundings.

Desi Cow Conservation

In an age of hybrid species, we stand as a fortress for the protection of indigenous Indian cow breeds. We believe in preserving their unique genetic lineage and the unparalleled benefits they offer.

Go-Adharitha Krushi

We actively practice and promote traditional, chemical-free farming methods using native cow products like manure and urine, demonstrating a model of sustainable and sacred agriculture.

Govijnan Prashikhyan

From pure milk and nourishing ghee to healing Panchagavya, we harness the sacred gifts of the cow. We are dedicated to educating the public about the scientific and spiritual significance of these products.
